You'll need pen needle tips (available in 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm), plastic syringes for filling, and optionally a luer lock for releasing pressure. All pens use standard 3mL cartridges and universal pen needles.

For subcutaneous injections, 4mm to 12mm tips work well. 8mm and 12mm are typical insulin syringe sizes. Shorter tips (4mm-6mm) should be held against the skin longer to allow all fluid to release.

Yes, all pens are reusable. Simply replace the glass cartridge when needed. Cartridges are single use, but the aluminum metal pen body lasts indefinitely with proper care.

V2 pens allow the needle to be hidden while using. The cap can be replaced once the needle is installed and then used. Alternatively, the pen can be used without the cap like a V1.

All pens operate in single unit doses up to 60 units per injection.
